Happy Tuesday
This is the reflection in our dining room built in china cabinet
I have shown you this cabinet before what I did not tell you
is how I came up with a way to save money too
My little secret
I have shown you this cabinet before what I did not tell you
is how I came up with a way to save money too
My little secret
I wanted to put a mirror on the back to help give the illusion that the room is larger
and to bring the outside in
and to bring the outside in
But the original cost estimate was over $500 for the mirror plus installation?
Darn budget {very frustrating word}
Darn budget {very frustrating word}
So I decided to wait until later to get it done....
Three years later still waiting ...
Then shopping at Target
Then shopping at Target
I had a wonderful {cheap} idea
I bought 5 of their least expensive wall mirrors
removed the plastic frames and glued the mirrors
one by one together to the
back of the china cabinet
one by one together to the
back of the china cabinet
~$40 dollars and fabulous~
It turned out better than I expected
You can see the pretty reflection
The room looks so much larger
the mirrors
elongated the room and
gave it the depth that it needed
and I saved money too.
A design for less success
