Decorating with vintage and heirloom treasures for
~Easter~
This beautiful vintage striped shabby chic pink apron with cabbage roses
is the perfect background
for a tiny wire bunny
and a pretty pink cabbage rose from our garden
This vintage apron has been in our family for 3 generations
it belonged to my Grandmother
my Mother and now it is part of our Home
Easter
would not be complete without it
I can remember my Grandmother wearing it when she was in the kitchen
cooking Easter dinner for the entire family with
Aunts ,Uncles, Cousins all running around
so much fun
This little wire bunny was a gift filled with chocolate
years ago from our children when they were 3 and 6
{I think they may have had a little help from Dad}
It is a real treasure to me
These little clapping hands are vintage paper clips covered with felt
A gift from my Grandmother for Easter when I was young
she always gave us something she made with her own hands
Vintage heirloom treasures help to keep
Easter
a family affair

Don't let family heirlooms just sit in a china cabinet or closet
Get them out and enjoy them
